The My Place Transitional Living Program at the Somerset Home for Temporarily Displaced Children is a residential program for young men and women, ages 18-21, who are in need of life-skills education and plan to live independently in the community after leaving the program.
After a stay of up to 18 months, program graduates receive outreach and support to enable them to continue meeting their goal of living a productive and independent life. My Place I helps 5 youth make the successful transition to independent living each year.
